ANSI Certification Exam\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n
To be certified as a food manager, the individual must pass an accredited food safety examination - administered by a certification provider.<\/p>\r\n
The Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Certification is approved by the American National Standards Institute and the Conference for Food Protection (ANSI-CFP). With the exception of Connecticut, this accredited exam is accepted in all states\/jurisdictions that have mandatory certification requirements for Food Management Professionals.

The license holder must be the person in charge or must designate a person in charge that oversees all food service operations in the food establishment. A person in charge must be designated for each work shift. At least one person in charge in each establishment must be a certified food service manager.
